Computers are a big part of my life. Of course, I use a computer at work. but I also have a mobile computer and additional display. The additional display is TV but I don’t watch TV but for computer’s additional display. I use my computer for a lot of different things. I study machine learning for using video, and I have a web page. And sometimes I hold a video conference by zoom or skype. I also use computer for remote work. In days gone by in Shizuoka, I usually used computer to teach my daughter English by video game like PBS,Nickjr,The magical school bus. I don’t need to read a regular newspaper because I use subscription service for digital newspaper,like Nikkei paper,japan times.
【上司】
I have a nice boss. He never gets angry at the employees. Even if we make or are slow in finishing our work, he doesn’t complain.He knows that we’re all trying our best. Hardly he asks us to work overtime. But at least he’s nice about it. He doesn’t make it sound like he’s ordering us around. So I don’t mind working overtime so much. I guess I’m lucky to have a good boss. A lot of people don’t it makes work a lot easier if you don’t have to worry about the boss.
【同僚】
I get along well with my co-workers. They’re all nice people to work with. We all work with. We all work hard, but we like to joke around,too. it helps us to get rid of stress. Hardly we go out after work for something to eat, and due to the situation with pandemic expedite that. but few of us go out drinking. We have a lot of fun. It’s nice to be friends with your co-workers. It males your working hours a lot more enjoyble. I’m lucky I have such good co-workers.
【転勤】
I’ve already been transferred twice. In April I came here Osaka from Shizuoka prefecture. but I don’t mind. One reason is that I can learn a lot about the work of our company and economics. Another reason is that I like living in different places. I can experience new things. And I can meet many new people. Of course,I have to live separated from my family. My transfer destroyed my family life a lot because my wife don’t want to accustom new life. At first, my wife agreed to transfer with me due to house-rent, But after I replied ok to transfer to my company, my wife disagreed to transfer for her belief. So now she take care of my daughter for herself and feel very tired for it. I frequently persuade her to live together.
【自然】
I like going to the countryside. The nature in the countryside is very beautiful. There are mountains, valleys, forests and streams. In the valleys are small farms. I often think it would be nice to live on a farm. Sometimes I go hiking in the mountains. it’s a nice feeling to be a mountain forest. The air is clean and it’s very peaceful. If I hike to the top of a mountain,I can get a good view of the surroundings. I’m always surprised at how far I can see. The world is so big and I’m so small. but this is a nice feeling.
【教育】
Japan’s educational system faces many problems. First, the number of students per classroom is larger than teacher can manege. large sized group education is past thing for military or mass manufacturing. Second, the method of education is n’t match the current situation like today’s accelerating advanced technology and hyper connected world. Teacher need more personalized and autonomous education system. Third, the equipment in school is too old fashioned. it need to refresh forefront one right now. Finally,Government afford more budget for education right now. From elementary school to University, all budget related to education is too small to update wide range of problem, including equipment. Also the budget related to reserch and development in university before graduate and after that, is decreased recently. I think it depends on the young legislater and young bureaucrat. Education is the permanent national policy.
【科学】
Science is interesting. Through science we learn about the world. We can also live lives that are much more comfortable. Today we have Smartphones,computers,cars,spaceships,Internet and other such inventions. Who could have imagined a hundred years ago that we would be living like this? I like reading books about science. Recently my favorite field is computer science. I like to read about the modern technology of the machine learning. Machine learning makes impossibility possible. That tells me continuous endeavor is the most important.
